Current bugs and limitations we're aware of

Known YouTube OAuth requires re-linking periodically

YouTube tokens expire and may require you to re-connect your YouTube account in Settings. This happens approximately every 7 days.

Workaround: Go to Settings and tap "Connect YouTube" again when streams stop appearing.
Known Stream thumbnails may be stale

Thumbnails are cached and may not reflect the current stream content. The stream itself is live, just the preview image may be outdated.

Known Some YouTube streams may not open correctly

Certain YouTube stream cards may have outdated video IDs, which can prevent the app from linking to the correct content. We're investigating a fix.

Known No stream playback yet

Selecting a stream currently opens it in an external app/browser. Native playback within StreamPulse is planned for a future release.

Fixed Settings button doesn't highlight when focused

On FireStick, the settings gear icon doesn't show a visible focus indicator when selected with the remote. Fixed in the zone-based TV focus system redesign.

Known Settings screen scroll can be jumpy on FireStick

On the settings screen, navigating up/down with the remote may cause a brief "overshoot then correct" scroll effect. This is caused by the native Android TV scroll system fighting with our custom scroll management. The focused item always ends up visible, but the transition isn't smooth.

Known "Back to Home" doesn't work when navigating directly to Settings URL

On web, if the user opens the Settings page directly via URL (e.g. /settings), the "Back to Home" button fails with "GO_BACK was not handled" because there is no navigation back stack. Works correctly when navigating to Settings from the dashboard.

Known YouTube stream may show stale video ID after channel restarts

If a YouTube channel ends a livestream and starts a new one, the dashboard may still link to the old stream's video ID until the next polling cycle clears the stale record. Selecting the stream may open an ended video instead of the current live one.

Workaround: Wait a few minutes for the next auto-refresh, or pull to refresh on the dashboard.
